Ariel and I have been toying with the idea of making a podcast about videogames and, last week, we recorded an ad-hoc trial run to test the technicalities of recording Skype conversations. From that audio, I distilled a few minutes to mix into a video... here is the end product. In the video, you'll see "reviews" of We Love Katamari(PS2), MotherLoad(Web) and Psychonauts(Xbox).
We're going to try an actual structured show soon. Maybe you'll hear a podcast from us someday. The "Twiddle" beta version is about 20 minutes long and is mostly us just joking around. You can download that audio here.
Oh! And go watch all of Ariel's OOGLOO + ANJU cartoons.

i like it a lot (am i biased and/or predictable?). its a nicely digestable size and pacing, and the imagery fits well -- not so much that its distracting you from the audio, but clever enough (like the split screen digdug/mrdigger) and pretty enough to give you something to look at. nicely edited, too, as it shows scenes you guys are talking about without getting too schizophrenic.
I don't even play video games and I liked this one. You two are just so darn charming! Where can I see her Oogloo cartoons?
Oops, forgot to link to "Oogloo + Anju"! Here you go, Greg...

I'll put that in the main post too.
Agreeing with Greg! Video games -especially online ones - hold no special charm for me. But I really enjoy the editing and pacing of the interviews. The visuals anticipate the verbals, in a way that makes the whole thing ridiculously easy to follow.
I'm looking forward to your next videoblog entry... the one that explains particle physics and relativity!
